2002 Lodi Zinfandel - Retail $15.00
Lodi is Californias heartland for Zinfandel and our 2002 is a great example of this varietal. While Lodi has a hot summer season climate, the evenings cool down as a result of the delta that feeds into San Francisco Bay. Packed with strawberry jam and a rich, ripe plummy character.
Blended with a hint of Merlot (7%) for accenting its round character, and a dash of Valdepena (9%) for developing its bright fruit finish.

2002 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon - Retail $15.00
Produced primarily from fruit grown on the Carousel Estate in Paso Robles, this Cabernet Sauvignon provides a round, soft approachable wine with hints of dark red fruit.
We blended 6% Merlot to enhance the wines plush soft character and 6% Petite Sirah for added structure and depth. This wine screams for meat or full flavored cheeses.

2002 Single Vineyard Reserve Carneros Pinot Noir - Mahoney Vineyard
Retail $35.00 (Sold out)
Andiamo selected Pinot Noir grapes from the Mahoney Vineyard in Napa side of Carneros for its Single Vineyard Reserve program. This vineyard occupies a middle band of a southwest-facing slope, running nearly a mile in length but only 400 feet in width. This middle band has proven that it has amongst the best conditions for Pinot Noir in the Carneros.
The Andiamo Reserve Pinot Noir - Mahoney Vineyard 2001 was made completely from the heritage Swan Clone grown on St. George rootstock in the heart of the hillside vineyard. These grapes were fermented at Mahoney's vineyard in five to ten ton open-top tanks with extensive hand punchdowns, and remained on the skins for an extended period to build structure. The wines aged nearly 14 months in over 50% new French oak before blending and bottling. Both of these wines showed very early promise and it was confirmed for our Single Vineyard Reserve program and received further bottle ageing. It is rare for individual lots of Pinot Noir to express intense fruit and deep structure at the same time, yet these did. Showing lovely black cherry notes with a pervasive fusion of perfume and black tea in the nose. The wine has ample tannins, well integrated oak, and a lush and supple texture.
Total production of the 2001 wine was 250 cases and the 2002 vintage produced 500 cases (sold out). We have just released 50 cases of the 2001 from our library.
